Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? You're in the right place.
Wellness isn't one-size-fits-all, and it's completely normal to have questions. Here are answers to some of the most common ones. If you don't see yours, schedule a consultation, message me on Facebook, or send me an email.
What is Antrim Wellness?
Antrim Wellness offers personalized wellness guidance and one-on-one support for adults interested in exploring modern wellness options. My role is to help you navigate the process, answer general questions, and provide ongoing support while licensed medical professionals are responsible for medical evaluation and prescribing when prescription treatment is involved.
What types of wellness options are available?
Options span several areas, including:
Weight Management
Peptide & Recovery Support
Energy & Cellular Wellness
Cognitive Wellness & Focus
Longevity & Healthy Aging
Sexual & Intimate Wellness
Depending on the category, available options may include prescription medications, compounded formulations, peptides, nasal sprays, oral formulations, injectables, creams, and other wellness therapies. Your current catalog includes options such as semaglutide, tirzepatide, NAD+, glutathione, sermorelin, GHK-Cu, Semax, Selank, sildenafil/tadalafil and others.
Do I need to know what I want before contacting you?
Absolutely not.
In fact, I'd rather you tell me what you're trying to accomplish than feel like you need to choose a product yourself.
You can schedule a consultation, message me on Facebook, or email me. We'll start with a conversation about what you're interested in and go from there.
Is Donna a doctor?
No. Donna Maines is not a physician or licensed medical provider and does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication, or provide medical advice.
Antrim Wellness provides wellness education, guidance, and client support. Medical evaluations and prescription decisions are handled by appropriately licensed medical professionals.
Do I have to speak with a medical provider?
Prescription treatment requires appropriate medical evaluation and approval by a licensed medical professional.
The exact evaluation process can depend on the treatment being considered and the requirements of the medical provider.
Does contacting Antrim Wellness guarantee I'll qualify for medication?
No. Neither speaking with Donna nor completing an intake guarantees that you will receive a prescription.
If prescription treatment is being considered, the licensed medical professional determines whether it is medically appropriate for you.
How do I get started?
You have options!
Schedule a consultation if you'd like dedicated time to talk.
Message me on Facebook if you'd rather start with a casual conversation.
Email me if that's more convenient.
After we talk, I'll help you understand what the appropriate next step is.
What happens after I decide I'd like to move forward?
When appropriate, you'll complete the required intake information so the licensed medical professional can evaluate whether the requested treatment is medically appropriate.
If a prescription is approved, it can then move through the appropriate fulfillment process.
Where do medications come from?
Prescription medications are fulfilled through the pharmacy associated with the particular treatment/order. Your current BloomRx catalog identifies products fulfilled by Greenstone Rx and Blue Five Labs, depending on the product.
I would have your partner confirm the exact consumer-facing wording they want you to use here before publishing pharmacy credentials or claims.
Are these FDA-approved medications?
It depends on the specific product.
Some options may involve compounded medications, and compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. Other products may have different regulatory statuses.
The licensed medical professional determines whether a prescription treatment is medically appropriate. You should always discuss questions about a medication's risks, benefits, regulatory status, and alternatives with a qualified healthcare professional.
Do you offer injectable and non-injectable options?
Yes, depending on the treatment. Your current catalog includes injectables, orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs), nasal sprays, and creams.
Not every medication is available in every format, and availability can change.
Do you offer weight-management options?
Yes. Weight management is one of the primary wellness areas offered through Antrim Wellness.
Your current catalog includes multiple formulations of semaglutide and tirzepatide, including injectable and oral options.
Whether any prescription option is appropriate for an individual is determined by the licensed medical professional.
Do you offer options other than weight loss?
Definitely.
Antrim Wellness isn't intended to be only a weight-loss business. Available wellness categories include recovery, energy and cellular wellness, cognitive wellness and focus, healthy aging and longevity, and sexual and intimate wellness in addition to weight management.
You can browse the Explore Options page to see examples of what's currently available.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the option, formulation, program, and services involved.
Visit the Pricing page for current pricing information, or contact me and I'll help you understand the costs associated with what you're interested in.
Is my information private?
I take your privacy seriously. However, medical and health information required for evaluation should be submitted through the designated intake process rather than through public social-media comments.
Medical providers, pharmacies, and other third parties involved in your care may maintain their own privacy practices and policies.
Can I message you on Facebook about what I'm interested in?
Yes. Facebook is a great place to start the conversation.
For detailed medical history or other sensitive health information, I'll direct you to the appropriate intake process rather than asking you to post or send information through a public channel.
What if I'm already taking medications or have a medical condition?
Please disclose relevant medications, medical conditions, allergies, and other requested health information during the medical intake process.
Questions about interactions, contraindications, symptoms, diagnoses, or whether a treatment is safe for you should be discussed with the licensed medical professional or your own healthcare provider.
Can you tell me which medication I should take?
Donna cannot select or prescribe medication for you.
She can help you understand the process and available wellness categories, but medical recommendations and prescription decisions must come from an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.
What if I have a question that isn't listed here?
That's exactly what I'm here for.
Let's talk. You can schedule a private consultation, message me on Facebook, or send me an email. I'll either answer the general question I can help with or point you toward the appropriate medical professional when it's a medical question.
